WOW. I LOVE this product! The long wear is no joke. I put it on at around 3:30 PM and only had to retouch it on my bottom lip in the center where I am constantly licking my lips. Other than that the color did. not. budge. Things that I LOVE about this product: long wearing, smudge proof (once its “dried” down, but lips will still remain a little sticky which is not a problem for me), and color did not bleed (I didn’t use any lip liner and I believe you don’t need to. If you carefully apply your coat it will stay where you put it and not bleed past your lips). The color Royal is a beautiful deep red that looks classic but modern at the same time. Only down side is as I wore it through out the night it did make my lips dry and little flakes or dry balls formed on my lips (I’m not explaining this the best but I am unsure how to describe it). It was easily fixed with a wet napkin that I ran along my lips (but still did not take off any color! Amazing!!). I only had to reapply once on the center of my bottom lip. I’m so glad I bought more shades in this line!

Easy to apply, lasting
This lipstick lasts! I needed a lipstick that wouldn’t fade or dry out throughout the day. I’ve found ones that work before, but they are all matte colors, which dries my lips out so INSANELY much. This one stays shiny for hours. I did need to reapply once throughout the day. It gets kind of caked up if I reapply directly on the old layers. It’s still OK. But it looks better if I fully remove and then fully reapply. Once the lipstick is on for maybe 5 minutes, it has lasting power. I could smash my lips against my hand and almost nothing would transfer, which was shocking since it’s a shiny lipstick.To remove, I use coconut oil, and it works great. I takes 2 applications, but it’s effective and keeps my lips soft.

You wont need to take this beautiful, glossy, high pigmented, non sticky lipstick with you after you apply it, once and done stays on all night long, and I mean ALL NIGHT… like until the next morning if you don’t take it off, lol! No transfer to drinking glasses or kissed cheeks once it dries. The absolute best feature is it glides on like silk without that “sticky feeling” that is also drying. I’ve put a late night clear gloss on and no color came off, just reignited the glassy look. I’m so pleased, I bought 3 shades! 100% recommended for those who like a lot of pigment but hate reapplying. Well done Maybelline

Superstar vinyl ink shade red hot
Pros: it doesn’t have a lousy taste Marshmallowish scent Good coverage Moisturizing This red has rich color with 2 or three coats Moves with lips and doesn’t crack or feel dry. Removes easily Great coverage especially when inside of lip is blotted dry with a tissue before applying. Last longer when applied in thin layers not thick. It works well when product is completely dry there is no transfer Cons: There is a little tackiness even when dry sometimes. You can blot that and or use a little lipgloss. Color can fade or wear off on inside of lip giving the dreaded cat butt effect. This may happen after eating and drinking.

True staying power and shine
I wore this for the first time to an event with food and drinks. After more than 3 hours my lips looked just as vibrant as when I first applied the product— even at the corners and inner lip. It had not worn off AT ALL. It has an applicator and consistency that goes on smoothly and is easy to control, no lip liner needed. I am going to stock up on this color (a perfect blue/red). This will make re-application a thing of the past. The photo is 4.5 hours after putting it on with no lip liner or gloss.

I bought this for a “no makeup makeup look” because my lips are very pale in the winter and I look sickly. I have medium (light-medium?) olive skin and this color looks very natural on me (cues “maybe she was born with it” slogan), so that goal was satisfied.I was skeptical that it would actually last as long as they claim, because it stays sticky after application; however, my skepticism was shattered! It transfers a little bit if you are drinking coffee, etc, but it does stay on a long time. I’m impressed.

Great Lipstick with Room for Improvement
I really liked this lipstick! It’s so easy to apply, and the colors are beautiful and bold. It stays on for hours, even after eating and chatting—very little touch-up needed. No need for a lip liner either, as it doesn’t smudge or bleed, which is great.But there are a few drawbacks. After some time, certain shades lose their original color and start looking sheer and oily. Also, while it feels nice initially, after long wear, lips can feel a bit dry and flaky. A quick dab of tissue or reapplication sorts it out, though.Overall, for the price, this is a great option.
