Science book
My son really likes science and he likes everything about this science book. It’s a great reference for kids and adults. It has great pictures and accurate information about biology, anatomy and all kinds of science topics.

GET READY, NERDS!
Got this as a present for my 11 year old daughter, and I’m probably more excited about this book than she is. It breaks down the sciences into broad categories, goes into the history of these fields and early innovators, then developes into core lessons. The image quality is wonderful, but don’t let that fool you, there is ample reading on all the pages. Neat fold out charts and diagrams. Went with hardback because I’m old school. 10/10*WARNING* Contains no socio-political bias. Is indeed heavily FACTUAL. Go Canes.

Great for science nerds of all kinds!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my then 10-year old son last year. I don’t think he looked at it a ton until recently, but he’s super into it now. It has tons of information, so none of it is super in depth, but it’s not terribly superficial, either. (How’s that for vague? Haha!) It’s kind of like an encyclopedia for science. Has a fair amount of information on many, many topics, including physics, dinosaurs, technology, and biology. It’s great. It’s been engaging enough that he’s wanted to investigate more in depth on some of the topics on his own. He’s pretty science minded and I’m not, so it’s also been great at answering certain questions that mom can’t. In general, I would recommend this book for older kids though. Even though he’s super bright, it definitely has a fair amount that’s over his head. That’s ok for him because he’s persistent and obsessed with science, so your mileage may vary!

Great book, poor condition
I ordered this book with the intent to use for homeschooling. I did request a replacement as the first book arrived with bent corners and tears along the edges of the book which I don’t believe anyone should pay $20+ for in a worn condition. With that being said the replacement came in the same condition. Very disappointing, cutting our losses on this one and returning.

This book is ideal for everyone it has something to interst youngster and also a lot of stuff for older people, the deivery was quick too. The only thing I would say negative is its a pity that Amazon didnt have the most up to date version in, but it is still an excellent book ideal for dipping into. You dont have to sit and read it all in one go, great reference book.
