Works well
Works very well… just connected it to a USB3 port and Windows 11 saw it right away. Lots of room for large backups of photos and videos.Only 4 stars though for 2 reasons.First is the utility software loaded on the hard drive does *not* work with this particular model. So why load useless software?Second is that it will *not* work through a powered USB3 hub, but it is fine when connected directly to the computer. My old Seagate 6TB USB drive does work with the hub with no issues.

Dependable workhorse of a drive
I’ve had the 8TB version of this drive for 6 years on my Plex server and it has performed flawlessly and still going strong. I’ve had other drives fail in that time period, including a Samsung SSD, but this drive keeps chugging along. I’ve been very happy with it overall.

Me gusto lo pequeño que es. No hace tanto ruido, apenas perceptible, lo uso para mis archivos, documentación y películas. Muy buen articulo, ya que lo tengo desearia comprar uno de mayor capacidad. Ademas de que llegó mucho antes de la fecha esperada.

The drive make lot of noise and I am worried that my backups will be lot. I have 10tb is does not make the noise as this one does, especially the drive.Very disappointed!!!
